New Hope Theological Society (NHTS)

Restoring Original Truth Through Theology

Welcome to the New Hope Theological Society

The New Hope Theological Society (NHTS) is an independent theological and educational organization dedicated to exploring the origins, development, and impact of religious thought throughout human history.

We believe that understanding theology requires more than accepting inherited traditions. It requires study, dialogue, cultural awareness, and a willingness to explore ideas across civilizations, cultures, and belief systems.

Our work examines the foundations of faith, the evolution of doctrine, and the shared wisdom that connects humanity across time and geography.

Our Mission

The New Hope Theological Society is committed to advancing a deeper and more authentic understanding of theology through scholarship, dialogue, and cultural exploration.

We explore the origins, evolution, and influence of religious thought across civilizations—bridging traditions, examining doctrine, and uncovering truth beyond institutional boundaries.

Led by The Most Reverend Dr. Kelvin Simmons, D.Div., Certified Bishop and Imam, Universalist Theologian, and 2018 Cancer Survivor, NHTS fosters a global platform for intellectual inquiry, interfaith engagement, and spiritual growth.

Our mission is to reconnect individuals with foundational theological knowledge, encourage critical thinking, and promote unity through understanding—recognizing that wisdom, faith, and truth are shared across humanity.

Our Vision

We envision a world where theological education is accessible, respectful, and informed by historical context, cultural diversity, and intellectual honesty.

Through dialogue and scholarship, we seek to create bridges between people, traditions, and perspectives while encouraging deeper understanding of humanity’s shared spiritual heritage.
